On Friday, August 14th we will be hosting the 26th Annual Arvada Hockey Associations’ Golf Tournament at Applewood Golf Course. This tournament is our largest annual fund raising endeavor. The proceeds of the event benefit the overall membership, but more specifically, the Arvada Hockey Association Financial Assistance Program. Created in 2000, the program was designed to help support players in times of financial need. To secure a scholarship from the Association, families must clearly demonstrate their need, the players must exhibit dedication to their education, and together with their families must be willing to volunteer in our community beyond the minimum expectation.
